Butterfields Racing Team (BRT)
Butterfields Racing Team was first established in 2017 by a squad of local South Australian cyclists and founding sponsors, with a vision to support women’s participation in local racing. Today, the team is a successful and respected part of the South Australian cycling community, with its strong commitment to development and a focus on creating opportunities and pathways throughout the sport.
In keeping with our commitment to development, we aim to provide our riders with pathways to elite competition across the state and the country. These competitions include the AusCycling SA Super Series, Victorian Road Series and the National Road Series.
In 2022, the trajectory from a local racing team to a nationally recognised development squad expanded by signing new riders from Brisbane and Canberra. In 2023, we have continued to grow by providing opportunities to riders from Sydney and Melbourne.
Since our formation, Butterfields Racing has strived to provide continuous development and growth opportunities for all riders. Regardless of age, skillset, experience or goals, we believe everyone can continuously improve into better athletes and individuals through our support and resources.
We ensure each team member has access to a safe and fun environment that encourages full inclusivity. Different cultures, backgrounds and personalities come together for their passion for cycling.
