Cycling Australia announces International Endurance Development Opportunities for 2020

In line with its strategic Endurance Development plan, Cycling Australia is pleased to announce a range of international racing opportunities for developing riders.

Selected riders will gain valuable exposure to the demands of international competition including physical, tactical and skill components along with the experience of traveling and managing the demands of thriving in a challenging foreign context. 

Riders will also gain valuable insights to their holistic development via exposure to international cultures and different racing lifestyle demands.

2020 racing opportunities:

Junior U19 Men
A two to three-week trip which will encompass the Tour de l’Abitibi UCI Nations Cup Tour (14-19 July) as well as additional local races within a pre-tour staging camp in Canada. Applications close 5:00 PM Friday April 10 2020. Apply here. 

Junior U19 Women and Elite Women
Includes UCI and National level races in Belgium (7 July- 17 August) for Elite Women and up to four weeks for Junior U19 Women. Applications close 5:00 PM Friday April 10 2020 Apply here. 

U23 Men
Includes Nations Cup events l’Etoile d’Or, France (2-3 May), Course de la Paix Grand Prix Priessnitz, Czechoslovakia (4-7 June) and Tour de l’Avenir France, (7-16 August). Applications close 9pm Sunday March 15, 2020. Apply here.
