Course Details

The Richmond UCI Worlds route is a replica of the 2015 UCI Road World Championships course in Richmond, Virginia, USA. It was at this race where Peter Sagan famously attacked on 23rd Street to eventually win his first World Champs jersey.

It’s a wonderful racecourse, with the first half very flat, then a nice mix of attackable climbs on the back half. Coming in at x2 laps of 16.3 km totalling 32.6 km with 314 m of elevation.

Women’s Race

Congrats to Maeve Plouffe of ARA Pro Cycling Sunshine Coast! An early launch saw her hold off the closing chase and take out the win on the iconic Richmond circuit.

Results:
1. Maeve Plouffe (ARA Pro Cycling Sunshine Coast)
2. Bre Vine (StepFWD Suzuki)
3. Vicki Whitelaw (Sydney Uni Staminade)

Men’s Race

A contender for bunch kick of the series; it all came down to the line going wheel to wheel. But it was Graeme Frislie (Subaru Giant Racing) who took the dub for the second time this series.

Results:
1. Graeme Frislie (Subaru Giant Racing)
2. Nick White (Team BridgeLane)
3. Cooper Sayers (Nero Continental)
